Editor’s House <span class="is-softi">FAQs</span>
You don’t need to be a professional anything to take this course. We accept writers, students, and editors in all stages of their journey inside the Editor’s House.
You 100% can work at your own pace. Tend to clients, children, or culinary pursuits while learning the skills you need to write and edit quality documents, articles, or books entirely online and on your own timeline. Upon entering the academy, you get life access to the Editor’s House—no hurry nor worry.
As the Editor’s House is entirely online, you need internet access. We mostly work with Google Docs, but you can work within Microsoft Word and then transfer over if you’re a creature of habit (same goes for pen and paper, or typewriter, or crayon and napkin). Otherwise you just need a love of words, an open, learning mindset, and a desire to create engaging content.
Like Yoga for Writers, the Editor’s House is not a course for completion, but rather a resource for continuous professional development. Therefore, this asset of the dslx Academy does not provide a certificate of completion.
However, a number of other courses on campus do provide a digital certificate of completion, perfect for your portfolio and sharing on social media. You’ll also receive a custom badge next to your author profile, should you publish work with dslxcontent.com.
