Storytelling
2 - Writing Convincingly
dslx's founder, Ray, studied English and Creative Writing at Falmouth University, and went on to do an MA in Professional Writing.
On leaving University, Ray quickly fell into the booming world of social media, and found he could deliver his passion for storytelling daily—in bite-sized snippets. Twitter was booming, Instagram was in a time of heavily saturated lunch photos, and influencers were still incubating. Facebook pokes had just died. Yes, he's that old.
However, storytelling rang true then just as much as it does now. People crave genuine human connections and experiences. No matter how progressive the bots get or how much they can replicate experiences, they have not lived. And in our living we create stories, and in our stories, we create feelings, affinities, and connections.

For that reason, storytelling is at the heart of successful copywriting. Here's an explainer.
